Three!!!

Has anybody else experienced Three.co.uk,s terrible customer service, I cancelled our mobile broadband on the 27th of July at 11.45am, They then started to chase me for £16.54 which I told them I wouldn't pay as I had cancelled. They now have passed it on to a debt collecting agency who are trying to get the money off me that I don't owe. If I wasn't going to pay Three then I'm not going to pay any debt collection agency and I,m quite willing for them to take me to the small claims court so I can counterclaim against them for costs incurred etc. Anybody got any helpful advice please?

you are aware that when you cancel you have to give 30 days notice..

that's what they are charging you for.. and they will trash your credit report..

    Read the contract.

That is what I was going to say, go and read the contract, you will see that you need 30 days notice. I think you should pay them.

They won't take you to court. If you cancelled your contract would expire on 28th August, and all charges to that date must be paid by you. Should you decide not to - the amount owing will be sold off to a string of debt collection agencies, and you credit file marked to show your default.

This will remain on view for 5 years and be treated as if I was a CCJ by other lenders. For the amount in question, it's shooting yourself in the foot big time to mess with this. Pay what you owe off quickly before it affects your future borrowing.
