Hi. The blogs are on blogger . I'll send you some links to some if you like?
It's been a quiet day here today. I having a relaxing day here:-)0 -
Tonight i am feeling lazy, but still want to save money and not go to the SM to get food, so am going to make 'Classic Spaghetti' aka spaghetti in a tomato sauce
Tomorrow is food shopping day, so my meal plan is as follows:
Friday-Cheesy/Pesto pasta
Saturday-Leftover classic spaghetti with garlic bread
Sunday- Roast Gammon, and all the trimmings
Monday-Falafel, salad and pitta breads
Tuesday- Sweet and sour gammon, noodles and prawn crackers
Wednesday-Cheesy chips and HM pizza
Thursday-Cottge pie and chips.
Doesn't sound like a very exciting meal plan, but i let the kids choose what they wanted as i am tired of making all the decisions, and thats what they came up with. Could be worse i guess, but i would prefer less chips and more fish0 -
Todays meal plan has already been changes- we are now having Falafel, pitta, salad and roasted tomatoes:0

Thanks HI.
I love cooking and i love photography, so it makes sense the combine them and post photos of my food
I'll be attempting to make my 1st carrot cake next week...fingers crossed!!0 -
Morning!
I am very annoyed with myself today. I went to Tesco to get some gammon for tomorrows roast, and ended up spending £14!
The gammon only came to £6, so the rest was sweets and fizzy drinks for the kids
That means i have £0 to last until next Friday! The good news is that i have all the food and drink i need, have [aid all the bills, and have already paid what i need.
So, i have 5 days of not spending anything at all, nada, £0...never actually done this before! Eeek!0 -
Todays dinner was yum! I am really picky with what gravy i use. I have tried Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi to replace bisto, but they have all tasted horrible to me. I have finally found one that i am willing to use and tastes delicious (dare i say it, even BETTER than Bisto!)..its Lidl one for meat. Tastes lovely
Have also got loads of washing done and hung out on the line, as its sunny and slightly breezy here in Cornwall today
I have made a list of stocking fillers to get for the kids, so am thinking about popping into town to get them tomorrow. We'll see!0 -
I am stupidly excited to find out that my nearest town is building an Aldi! Building has literally only just started in the last few days, so it'll take a while, but i will start looking at what things adli do that are nice.
I have been selling a few things in ebay, nothing much, just a few DVDs which only makes me about £1 a time, but every penny helps! I only have a very limitied amount of things left to ebay now, so need to start thinking about how else to earn money. I desperately need a JOB!
Any suggestions welcome!0 -
Good to see you WTBSE
I kind of get the impression you live in the sticks?
Good news on the Aldi, I have heard they Pay pretty well, is that something you'd consider? if so get in there early
Ebay for me is my only real sideline earner.
people seems to earn quite a bit doing surveys and swagbucks ect, most get paid in vouchers, these you can either use or sell, sometimes vouchers fetch more than the face value.
but i dont seem to get anywhere with these type of earners
How about babysitting / dog walking? could you put an ad in the local shop? have you looked for Jobs on GUMTREE, when i looked there were a few personal cleaners required type adsSPC ~ 6 ~ MEMBER 18730
