Thanks HI, it was my first attempt, and tastes just as yummy as it looks
Pretty impressed with myself, even if i do say so myself!
It's a no yeast one, all you need is dried fruit/raisins, flour, egg, butter and a sprinkle of sugar0 -
That looks Tasty
Do you want to share how to add pictures to posts? i haven't got a clue!
I've got some rice crispy cakes to make :rotfl:not quite skilled baking, but Daughters no longer like tescos cheapo cocopops, so i have some cooking chocolate and will make them into cakes instead for packed lunches! better than just leaving to go stale in the cupboardSPC ~ 6 ~ MEMBER 18730 -
Alterego- its really easy!
just set up a photobucket account (takes 2 mins, and is really easy). Then if you take photos via your phone (which is what i do) you can download the photobucket app (free on android and iphone) and automatically upload them to photobucket.
Then, when you log into photobucket on your computer, and hover your mouse over a photo, 3 links come up.
If you copy and paste the last link (its called the IMG link i think) from photobucket, directly into your post (like you would copy and paste a normal link to a web page), the photo appears when you submit your post
Sounds complicated- but its very easy. Seriously, if i can do it, anyone can!!0 -
Thanks to you my diary will now become a little more interesting with the addition of photos :rotfl:
How have you been doing today?SPC ~ 6 ~ MEMBER 18730 -
Hi Alterego, i love the photo of your bargain dress..i couldnt believe it was £2, i need to start going to carboots!
Today hasnt been too great really. I spent money on buying something different for dinner, as i couldnt be bothered to cook the fish pie that i had planned, even though i had defrosted the fish. Never mind, i can make it tomorrow.
Feeling a bit down todayy really. No real reason for it..apart from my TOTM.
I have been looking at some brilliant blogs to do with being frugal, to try and raise my spirits a bit.0 -
Hmmm must be something in the Air too, im not in a very good mood today either, not really any reason for it, just Cantbearseditus
Been looking at Job sites and tips for CVs, im just going round in circles though, so im think im going to log off the lappy, take a break and have a game of MW3 on the playstation instead for an hour and kick some butt :rotfl:SPC ~ 6 ~ MEMBER 18730 -
Morning
Alterego, i hope you are in a better mood today, i am feeling a bit more positive.
I have sent 4 parcels this morning, and earnt £9. Not too bad i guess, but i am starting to run out of things to ebay...eeek! I dont know what i'll do for extra cash after that. I need to get rid of some of my uni text books, and i know i could get a bit for them, only £50 or so, but it all helps. So i'll look into that this afternoon.
Keeping the heating off here today, as i am getting concerned about how much it has been on over the last few days! Now that kids are at school all day, i dont think i need to put the heating on from 9-3, as i can cuddle up under a duvet if necessary!
Dinner tonight is the fish pie that i should have made yesterday...so expect photos! Alterego- did you work out how to resize photos? I dont know how to do it either. I know there is a post somewhere that explains it all, but i cant for the life of me find it!!
I have been considering joining the masses and starting a frugal living kind of blog. I am following so many now, it seems the next logical step.
How are you all doing?0 -
Tonights dinner. Really easy. Leave frozen fish and prawns in pyrex dish overnight to defrost. Add a mixture of frozen veg (whatever you have- i had carrots, spinach, broccoli, peas), chopped garlic (frozen in this case), chilli flakes, a sprinkle of grated cheese, and leave it till dinner time.
Then just top with mash potato and plonk in the oven for 30mins at dinner timeWill update with the finished version later
