Thanks guys, i am relieved to be feeling better too

I went to tesco last night, and they have got lots of the Christmas bits and bobs out already, i cant believe it!! I guess thats the norm with SMs.
My youngest son wants Skylanders on Wii, and i cant really wait much longer as i am worried it'll sell out. From what i have heard, they are popular. So i think i will pop to Tesco and get it today. £49.99 for a wii game, a 'portal' and a few figures!!!
He also wants the Skylanders Giants one. So £100 for his 2 main pressies, i think that'll be enough.
Just stocking fillers after that
Lucky for me, my mum and sisters are very generous at Christmas, so i dont have to worry too much as both the kids get lovely pressies from them. And their Dad and his family also get them stuff- either cash or presents. The ex-inlaws normally send cash a few weeks before Christmas and tell me to get whatever they want.
Normally i just pocket the cash, and then wrap up one of the pressies i have already bought and label it as from them...i hope that doesnt sound bad!??0 -

Choc chip. I live by my Bero book, but the cookies just never seem right. x0 -
Have you tried Millies cookies?
They are on the front page of the GC. They are the only ones i make, and they come out perfectly everytime:
3oz butter/marg
6oz granulated sugar (or 3oz granulated, 3oz brown. i just use granulated as its cheaper)
vanilla essence
1 egg
6oz SR flour
pinch of salt
4oz choc chips.
you literally just put it all in a bowl, mix together until it looks right, then put spoonfuls on greaseproof paper. Put it in a preheated oven (180) for 15mins
