  • Awwwww so sorry to hear this - great to hear there's an improvement in her condition (any improvement, no matter how small is a really good sign).

Fingers crossed she continues to recover xx

I also had a collie/lab cross who had a stroke at about the same age, but within a few days she was pretty much back to her old self, just a little slower. Just give her time and as has been said if she is drinking OK don't worry too much, she'll eat when she's ready. Rest is what she really needs, and I'm sure she'll be getting plenty of that. My old girl did go on to have a further stroke about 18 months later, but again recovered fairly well given her age.
Fingers crossed that in a few days you'll see a big improvement.

Thanks everyone for your good wishes, :T I was very upset at the time, (I'm a bit of a emotional wreck over my animals)
She is much better, can get up and down stairs now, she is eating chicken and veg and the liqueur, had a short walk yesterday and had a run as well.
Hope to take her on the beach in a few days.

Great news, it is so upsetting seeing them when it happens but they can recover very quickly.
