Hi all, managed to get on here a bit today when GD was amusing herself :D We have read books, sung and danced to her fav CDs, eclectic mix of Rihanna, Kylie, Will.i.am and Snow Patrol :rotfl:

and of course watched some cBeebies ;) Early night for Granny I think :D

Wanted to go for a walk after her lunch but although it is dry, the wind is Baltic so think we will stay put. Nice wee WEM for a DreamWorks cuddly toy :j
    Keep warm everyone

I had never heard a fox either infact I have hardly ever seen one at all - apart from road kill! I was brought up in the country. Seems to be more of them in towns and cities. Thanks for link FF.

Problem with DS2 is he will have met several girls in Hamburg wingo!

Sounds like you are having fun ellemm - well done on the win.

we had quite a few at the old place sheils but they stayed round the back of the allotments, here, they sit under the windows in the evening & sometimes in the day they just meander across the grounds like they own the place :D
most of them here feed them scraps & have been doing for years before i came, think that's why they're not realy scared of us  we're also near a country park & think a lot of people visiting leave them food as well 'cause ours are all fat ones :D

Not sure I would be keen on having foxes wandering about, Our biggest pests are crows and seagulls which are really noisy too.

Didn't win a Times break as I see someone has had a WEM - back to drawing board :rotfl: Trying Evening Standard comp - Edinburgh stays today
Garage has just phoned and our car will be delivered home tonight, hopefully looking all smart and minus the finger prints and the little dent a van driver put on it. They were sorting the dent at the same time so costing us £100 instead of £500 which was the quote we had earlier. Mitsubishi paying the rest of the bill for respray.

they don't seem to bother sheils & don't give us any trouble sometimes it's funny to watch them in the evening when the cats start chasing them :rotfl:there's a big old tabby that chases them reg & all the foxes are scared to death of him :D

great you've got your car sorted :j:j

Phew! Just done all the dailies, it took me ages!
Postie is my friend again....he brought a foooz football set for DS! :j I had a little peek so I think I will let him have it today instead of putting away for bday/xmas as he has been working so hard at his mock sats in school :)

Wow fire**fly, that is noisy! it sounds like something you hear in the background on Eastenders!
I wouldn't like foxes wandering around here too, there's so many youngsters here, I've heard a few stories on fox attacks last few weeks.
Lol @ the cat chasing them fire**fly! :D it was like the cats last night outside window, I was banging on window to scare them away but they just looked at me like I was daft! :D

Glad you're getting car back Sheils :) there's still time to win on Times comp! ;)

Well done on your win ellemm :T I miss watching cbeebies since DD started full time school! :p used to love watching Justin in Something Special :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Watched a cat and a seagull once - not sure which one would give up in the end as they were both sure of themselves.

Well done on the win wingo - hope your DS likes it. Glad he is working hard for his mock sats. We don't have them in Scotland. My poor DD is working really hard for her mock O Grades and Interims, Still think it is far too young to do them. The maths Interim 2 exam used to be done by 17 year olds and she will only be 15 when she sits it. Don't know what the rush is. Think they are changing back now though so others must agree with me.
