Yes I totally agree we were never bored in those days there was always something to keep up occupied even though we didn't have much.
iluvcats - sorry I missed your win, well done and you Sheils.[/QUOTE]

Oh yes - fond days. We didn't have much either really - can recall xmas/birthday presents were lovingly home made by me mum and dad as money must have been tight. Guess they stayed up so late into the night, once we were in bed, to make gifts etc. Can still recall the excitement of opening those presents
Never felt bored - so many things to do, so much to explore - no computers, no gaming machines etc ......... yet we wanted for nothing! Wonderful childhood, we were blessed. Beautiful memories.xxxxxx

Hi everyone
There's a Times hourly comp tomorrow for a KitchenAid mixer - have posted here and will add the entry link when available.
Haven't been around much lately as my mother-in-law was very ill and sadly died yesterday. All the family were looking after her at home so it's been a difficult time, but she's at peace now.
Hope all is well is with you all and fingers crossed for someone in the Inn to win a mixer.0 -
Thank you Sue, very sorry to hear of your loss. It's good of you to even think of doing this with all of that going on in real life.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams
