Wet n windy here - not a day for venturing anywhere. May have to do some housework :eek:

FF - yes, that pic brought back memories :eek:;). Got a pair of them years n years ago - quite cumbersome but I was so excited! Remember using them in mum and dads wee patio type space, one day thought I would try a jump and twirl in the air (pirouette? no, not exactly ).

To cut a long story short ......... not sure which was worse ........ breaking my wrist as twirl went horribly wrong or ....... the tongue lashing I got from me mum at the cottage hospital :rotfl::rotfl:

Never saw them skates again, they was banished!!!

Still fond memories though ........ such is life!!

Meow enjoyed my parcel delivery the other day. Playing with the packaging, tags, box, items. So funny! (more fun than the goods in a way!)

Firefly - Well done on your share of the Iceland win and just looked at the pic of the Lady win it looks lovely well done on that too.

Just had a WEM from Woman's Own and won the Call the Midwife Album so that should be nice, love the series and sad it has ended again.

Having a nice tinned salmon sarnie for lunch and have got some diced pork out for our tea, will probably do something with it and have it with rice.

Afternoon
Finished work now till monday. Going to enjoy not having to work all day sunday,lol.Well done on the win FF.I had a wem for a family ticket to see Robot wars live on sunday. My nephews will be going and are so excited as boys under 1o are when they love to watch it on tv. I also had a surprise parcel of a whale bath pod turn up. I think it's from Made for Mums as can't find any other post. It's my nephews birthday next month and he will love that. Just waiting for the postman now,he comes around 3..lol

I wish I had done a curry instead fire**fly I've burnt most of my soup! I had the gammon on first and was multi tasking but my gammon burnt most of the juice! managed to salvage some so not sure what it's gonna taste like!

I had them skates too Alfie! Used to think I was Jane torville on wheels! kids nowadays don't know how to have fun!

Well I suppose I better go get my scooby doo and where's wally from school. Moody Margaret is making her own way home and grumpy has took his mam shopping! :rotfl:

Hope the kids had a good red nose day at school - watched the zambezi river red nose day thing last nite - these programmes always bring a tear to me eye. Will be watching it all tonight.

I'm sure your dinner will taste fine wingo I don't do gammon cos don't eat meat but have developed a liking for burnt food over the years, can't imagine why lol! :whistle:

Seriously though, I also really love burnt toast (wholemeal bread), left to cool, then spread with hard butter and marmalade! It's soo good.

Cooked a home made veggie curry the other day which was very tasty and I make enough to eek it out for a couple of dinners but tonight I am having a cheese, leek and red onion plait (pastry thing) with jacket spuddy plus broccoli.
