Waiting for hubby to get up so we can go food shopping. The Hoover and the washer hasn't stirred him :think: think I'll get the lawn mower out!

Good Morning:( Just got up. Had an awful night for some reason and hardly slept.

Indie - Glad you long shift is over for you for the week that must be a relief.

FireFly - So you have snow:snow_laug We just have wet at the moment, don't think it is coming this far up somehow.

Sheils - enjoy your free breakie and have a safe journey home and speak to you tonight when you get back. The snow hasn't reached us yet so you should be OK hopefully.

B.Sue - You have snow too! That was a nice surprise the pancake mix stuff, just in time as well.

Wingo - we have to go shopping as well when I can pull myself round a bit. When do your little darlings break up for half term is it next week?

Ours break up Friday for a week Sylvia. Son will probably go to footie for the week, youngest might go playscheme two hrs a day and DD1 will be in her room for the week no doubt!

Hi everyone,

I'm back after my nice little night away. We went to Amazonia Rainforest at Strathclyde Park this morning. (used Tesco Tokens!) It was quite good and DD forgot about being grown up and had fun taking pics of the animals etc. They had an interactive bit afterwards which was fun too. Had a good trip home with the sun shining all the way although there was snow on the hills.
Had a WEM for Robert Burns Birthplace Museum tickets which is near Ayr so we will go next time we are there. Have never been to it since it was modernised so should be something different to do.

Well done on your win BSue. Anyone else had one?

Have just had even better news. Got DH to post on Wonga again and they say there was a glitch stopping him claiming properly and they are going to honour the win and send the £100 to our bank account! :j :j :j

We're in a state of shock here, we've waited 3 weeks for British Gas to come and quote for a new boiler, he came today, we agreed the (exhorbitant) price and he said they could do it on Wednesday!! Can't believe it will be so soon.
