Yes he was really excited. We went bowling which he normally wins but as he has decided to grow his hair....it kept falling in his face as he was bowling! I'm hoping he gets nits at school so he gets it cut!

It is a horrible day here with sleety rain falling although the snow has gone.
Just had a WEM from shadestation saying I have won their prize but the only comp I can find is on FB when they reach 3,000 likes and they haven't yet. Don't know what the prize is and don't like to ask! Have emailed back to claim it anyway.

O'h don't mention nits wingo! DD had a few once, it was horrible.

Well done on your WEM Sheils! :T I've just been reading a post about fb setting on private....I had mine on friends only but had been entering a lot of like and share comps. Ive just changed it to public now but unsure. What's everyone else's set as? FB still baffles me!

My DD once caught nits while in hospital as well as chicken pox! She had an EEG where she had wires on her head and this and the chicken pox were leaving indents in her head where the nits ended up! It was a nightmare, her immune system was low and they took ages to get rid of! In the end I poured natural tea tree oil in warm water and plenty of conditioner to get rid of them. Lotions were useless. She's been ok since thankfully!

Postie just brought a snoopy teddy I bought from eBay. It was for jasper, he had one since we got him what the kids gave him and it was well torn and unrepairable but he was pining for it...looking in the washer and the bin for it. I felt guilty so bought him an identical one! I think he's happy now!

:hello: Everyone,

I went to my walking group this morning for a latte and a walk,then I came home to my Red Tassimo Coffee machine,I had a funny feeling before It came that It would arrive today and got worried and said to dad no one will be in to sign for it.I must be superstitious somehow,any way it arrived really quickly and I can have my first drink this evening rang the free tassimo careline to let them know I got the machine safely as I thought that would be nice if I did it

making some lunch at the moment,awaiting dad to contact me as I need help to clean it for the first time before I can even have a drink as I need to do it 4 times and too scared to do it by myself once I know its cleaning routine I will be fine :)Hope Jasper likes his teddy Wingo and well done sheils on your wem and anyone else that has won anything today.

Just checked my FB and it is on Public.I only use it for comps and sharing photos anyway. Keep getting Shadestation adverts on my Yahoo page now as I have been searching for the comp.

pets pine for things, we once had a collie dog long time ago & i remember when we lost one of his fave toys & he never stopped looking for it for ages

Glad you got, easy to get going. (yellow bar coded cleaning disc in back cycles some water to clean)Drinks are addictive but considering you could get a whole box for the price of around one drink outside, it's economical, within reason.
I refill my latte milk discs with Evaporated milk to use with other coffee discs.

Oh Wingo- not nits please. I keep scratching my head at the thought. Granddaughter had them a while back and they take ages to get rid of. Everytime she comes I make sure I keep her hair away from mine (nasty grandma). I have been reading about the fb and twitter stuff as well, its still a mine field to me as well. Off to check now. The worst thing about twitter is not knowing how to check if you win. Am really lost and don't know why I do them really.

Sheils - car has got through its MOT, they say tyres are quite close and that I should go back in a month, even though I have recently had them checked at a place I always go to for my tyres and they say they are fine. I know what you mean about previous cars, ours was costing us loads so changed it for a little panda three years ago. Our old car was sold on to someone near us and its still running around.

Katie - glad your tassimo has come, you will soon get the hang of it.

Firefly - do you use binoculars to watch your birds?

Must get some comps done as been out all morning waiting for car.

Wingo - Just checked my twitter account and thats OK. Been looking on facebook account. Have seen comps that you and Sheils have shared but unsure if they are comps that have come from MSE, which I would have probably already done, or whether they are once you have picked up directly from facebook. Is there any way of me telling?
