Afternoon everyone. Lovely sunny day here but windy, great for drying washing.
I have not long got in from work we have 6 staff off with the sickness bug so we all had extra calls to make.Touch wood I don't catch it..lol.0 -
Weowens, I love my slow cooker best for that reason as well, its does the gammon lovely. Never thought of adding cider though, will give that a go.
Firefly - thanks for that info have had a quick look and bookmarked it. I would have put it in after like you had suggested with the cream but obviously yoghurt would be a better option for me.
Wingo - I have only had my soup maker a little while, would probably never have invested in one, but wouldn't be without it now.
B.Sue - Yes I have to say that veggie soup if my favourite and you can make it different each time just by what you put in it. Must admit I do like my veggie stock cubes and pots though. I know it is probably taking the easy option but must leave some time for comping mustn't we?
Katie - hope you enjoy your fish and chips and hope you manage to sort your phone out OK. I put my old blackberry on Ebay last week and got £72 whereas the recycle only wanted to give me £41 so was quite pleased with that.
Have a lovely afternoon everybody.
Sheils - hope you have had a lovely time on your little break. Its very windy here and apparentley we are a very cold February with more snow on the way.

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is well.
Had a lovely little break and the weather was fine for February!
We visited "The Angel of the North" and had a lovely walk along the beach between Roker and Seaburn yesterday before going to our hotel near Washington where we had a nice carvery at the nearby Toby. Took bowls for our cereal you will be pleased to know Sylvia as refused to pay £12.50 each for breakfast at the hotel. We had lunch at a pub at Corbridge on the way home instead and that cost less than £13 for us both. Also visited Derwent Resevoir but it managed to have a hail shower while we were there. Went to Carlisle Asda to get cheap petrol (£1.29) and some other deals they had on so had an eventful time.
Had a WEM waiting on me too a book from one of Laks posts - will have to post in IWIWIW later. Had a reply from Unilever about the Timotei prize and it sounds like they are sending more now.
Has anyone else had any wins? Did read back but only roughly.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Good evening everyone.
Sounds as if you had a lovely break sheils.
Lovely day here but turned very chilly now and windy.
Had a little win today, a 1 day plan by Jenny Craig ( a packet of cereal, a packet of soup, a chicken and couscous meal and a chocolate biscuit). So breakfast and lunch sorted for tomorrow.
Had a busy day so very few comps entered so off to do some now.
Have a nice evening.Be Lucky Everyone0 -
Evening all. Tesco man came this morning and shopping was put away before 9am bt still couldnt resist a meal deal in morrisons when i finished work so for tea we have shepheds pie with mint pea and potato crunchy topping, chunky chips, chocolte pudding and a bottle of white (which was £7.49 on its own. Whole meal deal was £10

Evening all, thought I'd pop in and say hello, haven't been in here for a while, took a year off comping, am back now and on my second week, forgot how frustrating it is for a win, I gave up as was winning hardly anything and it got frustrating, so am a bit worried that I'm getting like that again already, would love to get a wem again to keep me going, oh well, will keep trying I suppose, hope your all well, and wish you all the best of luck xxx0
