Well just sitting here absolutely full after FF's slow cooker lasagne with garlic bread- was lovely FF and easy to make, should have had a wee red wine with it, forgot ;)

Postie brought my £100 Eve Lom voucher from daily mag win in December which I had to chase - however they had added in 3 good sized samples as well which are worth about £30 :j
Mind the stuff on their website is so expensive, won't get too much for £100 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:but not complaining.

I made bread pudding from a CH4 SuperScrimpers recipe. It melted in one's mouth!

Waste-Less Wonder Barbara had a tasty tip on re-using stale old bread.
    Barbara's beautiful bread pudding
    Ingredients:
225g (8oz) bread, torn into bits
    275ml (1/2 pt) milk
    175g (6oz) dried fruit
    75g (3oz) margarine
    25g (1oz) Demerara sugar
    1 level teaspoon mixed spice
    a little grated nutmeg
    1 egg
    large slosh of brandy
a squeeze of lemon or orange juice

    Method:
-Pour milk over bread, soak for 1/2 hour
-Add remaining ingredients and mix together thoroughly
-Spread evenly in a flat pie dish, about 7 inches (18cm) diameter
    -Cook at 350F (gas mark 4/180C/fan oven 155C) for 1 3/4 - 2 hours
-Eat in big chunks while still warm
    Yum yum!

    Hi everyone,

I have been about pulling my hair out here - DS left his phone at a "pals" who must have been trying to use it and put the pin in more than 15 times and locked it. It has to be reset using Google and my idiot son forgot all the details he used to set it up! Finally worked out user name but as he never used account the details weren't good enough to reinstate account. They wanted payment for them to phone up and check details and maybe reinstate account within 3 days. We finally gave up and he has restored phone to factory setting (thanks to internet advice). Now at least he has a working phone but no phone numbers. His music and photos are still there though. Now he is threatening to go and punch his "pal" - happy days!

    I love bread pudding too!

Thanks ellemm. I am so not technically minded but it seems to be me that has to find out how to do things on the internet. I did feel sorry for DS though as he is on holiday and was trying to organise some nights with an ex school pal he hasn't seen for ages. He was on FB and his PS3 trying to get in touch with peeps. No-one uses landlines nowadays. It will maybe teach him to be more careful and less trusting.

Sheils - Sorry to see you have had bother tonight, it was me last night. Glad you got it sorted and not lost the pics etc. Must be annoying though not having your phone numbers. That's the problem with modern day technology we depend on it for our numbers instead of the old fashioned address book.

    Off to bed now.

At least he didn't lose his phone Sylvia. Saw some peeps had paid £25 to unlock phone or just bought another one as they couldn't get Google to reinstate accounts. His is just over a year old so I want it if he gets a new one. :D

    Good Night .
