DS is finally home - comes in, Skypes his girlfriend and goes out with his mate- typical, not wanted to spend time with his aged Ps . DD is still hanging on to that baby , if it's not born today I'm going to see her tomorrow. May do some baking today - will probably make my cold tea cake & take some down tomorrow - shouldn't take her down a whole one as she (not sure about GS) is the only one in the house who likes fruit cake.
On th comping from I'm so bored with entering DVD comps it seems it's all thats around atm

Morning!!!!! Been up since 5am (puddy cat stealing the duvet again!!). Do love early morns tho better in the spring when mornings are lighter.

Very still and quiet outside (that includes weather and neighbours )
Quite mild at the mo.

Ellemm - ff's lasagne in slow cooker sounds delicious - wonder if I could do it with vegetables? Would like to give it a try.xx

Sheils - ooooooh technology!!! Way past me - hope all is well with the phone. I have a brick fone, about all I can cope with, ring and send texts, sometimes I even get confused with that :rotfl::rotfl: xx

Sylvia, hope you get your deliveries soon, fingers crossed. I have my mums old washboard in the garage and if my washing machine gives up the ghost, I can see myself at the sink with the washboard and a large green block of soap!!! Was it Fairy? Can't recall - I'm going back a few years now!!! :D xx

ILC's - your pics make me giggle so much!! The bread and butter pudding sounds scrumptious particularly the 'LARGE slosh of brandy'!!! My type of recipe!!!!! xx :rotfl::rotfl:

Tulip - bread dipped in egg is a lovely dish (french toast) - very tasty and a good way to use up some leftover bread especially if it's slightly stale. Scrumptious! xx

Hamster - I'm coming round to yours for tea!!! Love cold tea cake - delicious :A xx

fire**fly :A - hope you had a lovely meal last night - i have omelette tonight with mushrooms and peppers and cheese. Looking forward to it already!!!! Yep, I'm going to start having squeezed lemon and hot water in the morn too. Sounds good and v healthy - good way to kick start the day.

Just been out (as it's getting lighter) to feed my feathered critters and whatever else visits the garden and enjoys a good feast!!!

Feeders needed filling up again! Out of dried mealworm though - robin will be disgruntled - have to order some more!!! Those mealworms go down a treat, can't just be the robin that's eating them surely!!!!?

Have put some grapes/apples out also for the blackies etc. Making some fat balls for the critters, even tho it's milder, they still enjoy them and helps maintain their body weight I hope!

So looking forward to the spring to get out and tidy up the garden, got a lot planned but ............ no more high pruning :eek::eek: Just staying at ground level!!! xxxx

Ooooh, just saw your post, crossed over mine while I was still rambling on lol!!! Oh yes, I love eggy bread, enjoy xxxxxxxx

Morning everyone,

Been busy in here already I see. Some fantastic pics too. So love the squirrel one FF - it will be off to DH's aunt shortly. Haven't heard from her for a few days so hope she is OK but at 92 she is pretty fit and with it. I wonder how many peeps of that age can use a computer.
It is great that everyone looks after the creatures in their gardens.
Going to send another email about Timotei later today - why is it always the big prizes that you have bother with?
Spent so long with DS's phone problem last night I didn't get many comps done so must get on. Only 2 days to increase our haul so no time to waste. Good Luck all. (have included some fairy dust in the pic!)
