Hi all
Loving all the torty & ginger cat pics, we had a lovely wee torty that had orange paws, a wee 3 year old friend noted to his Mum "That cat's got yoyange paws" so poor cat was forever known as Yoyange :rotfl:We also had a grey one named Carwash after some cartoon programme the kids watched
Went to Aldi today and did some shopping, also got all ingredients for FF's slow cooker lasagne-except the spinach- so will go out tomorrow for that, it was just so wild and wet couldn't face going anywhere else.
However made my Parsi chicken curry again for tomorrow.
Not done much comping today, seem to be up to date and there are so many twitter comps just now and I don't do those nor the FB like & shares so not many new ones for me to enter.
Off to watch some telly0 -
Right - Sorry folk but need to get this off my chest. Took Sister into town in the car which I don't usually do as I take the car to save parking.
Returned to said car park with one of these yellow token the size of a 10p coin.
Got to the front of the cue, more peeps behind me, takes money out of purse £2 coin and a 10p coin. Sister is wittering in my ear and trying to stuff the money in my purse to reinburse me. Feeds money into machine, hear coin drop puts hand in to withdraw token not even looking at it. Gets to the exit try to put the token in only to realise it was a 10p. It must of dropped back down into the same tray that usually delivers your token back and I hadn't noticed it was my original 10p which the machine had rejected. (are you following me)? Obviously the man behind me then had a £2 credit which must have pleased him immensely. The man at the exit made me pay £5 for another token so ended up paying £7 to park for 1 hour.
Sorry rant over.
Hope you are all having a lovely evening (got to be better than mine)
Think I will have an early night and hopefully feel less agitated tomorrow.
Must do some comps as haven't done anything except the mag dailys and Fred has done those for me.
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
You must have been really angry Sylvia. We have this silly agreement that we only pay for parking if it impossible to park within about a mile! We did have a problem with a machine once though as it rejected a coin and only gave us half the time we wanted. That was down at Teignmouth - Katie's area. It must be annoying though when you really need to use the parking.
We have not been to Chester le Street for a few years now - we had fish and chips at Clem's Chippy last time we were there. Is it still there?Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Sheils - yes the chippy is still there. Thats if its the one about half way up the high Street. There are a lot of the shops turned into charity shops now but there is a Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi and Iceland so worth the trip. Chester-le-Street is about 5 miles from where we are. We actually went to Durham today which is only 2 miles from from us, we are not far from the Durham A & E hospital. We usually get the bus as we have passes but Sister is not quite ready with her 2 sticks yet to catch the bus. She wanted to go to BHS. We are taking her home tomorrow, love having her but always land up depressed by the time she goes as she is negative about absolutely everything, bless her. Think you have to have a positive attitude to get on these days as much as you can anyway.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

Only been to Durham once Sylvia. We went to the cathedral etc, think it had connections to St Cuthbert - our town is supposed to be named after him.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
