Morning peeps and a happy new year to all!!! Best wishes, health and happiness for 2013

Been up since 5.30 sheils!! But have an admission Fell asleep on the sofa cozy as you like last night surrounded by the paws - missed seeing in the New Year!!!! Typical!!!! Was woken at 12.45am'ish by big lump of a hug labrador licking my face and telling me that he really needed to go out in the garden before bedtime!!!!

Bless the paws - let lab out, if there were fireworks (no idea as i was sending up the zzzzzz's!!!) they had all finished so he went out with no worries, came in from garden, and all paws settled down and went back to sleep. Went to bed myself and then wide awake at 5.00 this morn!!

My new years resolution: no more climbing very high ladders trying to prune trees by myself!!!!! No more mishaps for me - on the mend now, and determined to stay in one piece this year.

Off out walking later cos it seems rather a nice start to the day weather wise and it will be good exercise for me just to go down to the village and back. No need for crutches now, just a walking stick to fend off all my admirers!! :rotfl::rotfl:

My wonderful family clubbed together and my christmas present from them was a wee automatic car, all taxed, mot'd, insured etc. Absolutely over the moon, love automatic cars and it's just perfect for me. Independence, freedom, - just the ticket!! Something to get 100% better for so I can poodle around to my hearts content!!

Blimey Alfie, that was a brilliant present, was it a surprise? Love the way you even brought a dog into it. 'poodle around' LOL I've never driven an automatic but if it's what you're used to that's great. Have fun and take care out there!
