I loved the Xmas edition of mrs browns boys too Dreams! He/she is so funny, especially when she does something not in the script!
Got one of my Pringles speakers, still waiting on another but not sure if they'll send another as when I won again it said I've already claimed the prize!

Hoping next year will be a great one for prizes

Morning all,

Just had a lovely start to the day as there was a WEM waiting for me for a £25 iTunes voucher from a Twitter comp. Saw a few winners the other day and thought it was finished so it was a great surprise. Had a £10 from Pringles this month already but that is spent on myself! Watched the Steven King film last night - it was quite scary.
Really windy here again and showery through the night so I didn't really sleep well which is why I am up late.

hope your internet is ok now wingo, mine kept going down late last night but seems to be ok this morning except for google, having to keep recovering the page 'cause it keeps saying google's not responding :eek:

You too Wingo. DH's came yesterday too. Its funny how you get an image in your mind of what things will be like when they arrive. Had in mind it would be in the shape of a box of Pringes lol and that there would be two. Not grumbling though its quite cute.


FireFly I am trying to persuade DH to do this detox thing with me but would have to plan it as he likes to go to Witherspoons for his bacon buttie. We get the Metro paper off the bus and sit and do the sudoku in comfort to see who can finish them first. Think it would work for me though better than a diet as even though I dont normally eat any cake/biscuits/sweets/choc/crisps etc I still struggle with my weight. Think the thyroid thing doesn't help. The thing that will be the problem for me is when I need food I go very week and struggle to even decide what to have. My DD is on the same tablets and although she is only small is exactly the same when she is hungry. Just need to get my mind in gear and get organised but am going to give it a go.


Need to get back on the wii and get exercising as well as that obviously helps too. Want to lose half a stone before I go down to look after DGK for half term in Feb.


Not many people on here at the moment. Hope the troll hasn't scared everyone off.

The Pringles speakers are really good Sylvia - I had one connected to my laptop to play my music while I comped the other day!
It does look like the troll has scared some peeps I'm afraid. I did have a PM from one person yesterday saying she didn't want to post at the moment incase she got targeted. I sent Becks a PM seeing if she was Ok but she hasn't replied. Wonder if ILC has lost connection or something as she doesn't seem to have been on.

I'm looking forward to the new series of "Mrs Browns Boys" Dreams.

Think we might all have to do your detox FF! I do loads of excercise but have always struggled to keep my weight down. Talking of which DH is moaning about going out as there is rain forecast for the afternoon.

I agree with you fire**fly, best way is to ignore the trolls as they just retaliate. I wish they would find a way of naming and shaming them as they must be using alias names. They should be banned altogether.
The last time they targeted me I stewed on it all night but it's really not worth it.

Wingo, I sometimes have a PJ day too. Its good sometimes to just relax and have a quiet day. Agree with you best to ignore they are not worth the time of day.

The light has just dawned about the Pringle speakers, you are rightWingo they would just fit in the top of a box of Pringes. Don't know why I hadn't thought of that.


FireFly, think my DH would probably go along with me for a day or too. He really does try to do everything he can to encourage me. We even do things on the wii fit together as well. Only thing is it just drops of him whereas I have to fight for every pound.


Must go and hoover bedrooms now visitors have all gone.
