Unlike me who's been waiting in all day for a Sports Direct delivery with part of DH's Christmas present which doesn't look as though it's going to come.
I really wanted to go for a walk as we don't get too many days when we can go out without getting wet

Even more annoying is I paid £2 extra for next day delivery and I'm also going to have to wait in tomorrow too :mad:

The Babycham gift set sounds great Katie - I like a Babycham for a change. My granny always bought me a pack of 4 for Xmas and I did point them out to DH when they were on offer!

That must be really annoying for you Walwin. I hate waiting in but the delivery men usually just leave stuff in our porch as it is always open. Last week one delivery guy took a packet round the back and put it under the steps there for some strange reason.

Evening all.

Well done on your wins today-no wins here today but I did have some shower gel arrive. It was one of my 5 Stella wins so that is 2 down 3 to go. What a lovely comp that was!

Been busy Christmas shopping so will wrap a few and comp for awhile.

Hi Everyone, Just popping by on Fred's computer as can't be bothered to start mine up. It has been a hard day today taking Sister for her operation and staying with her until she went to theatre. Thanks for your your good wishes for her. She is OK, wen to see her tonight, she is still in one of the recovery wards but is doing alright. Going to bed soon as it has been an emotionally tiring day.


Well done on all your wins on the Inn. Will try and pop by tomorrow.

Groceries can be booked and delivered to an hour slot.

In this day and age, a half day courier service as a minimum isn't a hard ask!

I only try to order stuff that will slip through my letterbox!!

A certain company beginning with V is advertising order by 10pm on the 23rd for delivery on the 24th - Do you believe that? (esp. that they use Y. !) They will then hide behind their terms/conditions if they fail to show!



Good news on the dog, op, walkies, shopping, winners but not so on the delivery,

Hope everyone is ok. I am seriously tired today and am only up to go and meet MIL to go to Morrisons as its 15% staff discount day today and I am babysitting at 11 so need to have it done so we are back. Don't start work until 2 so i am wasting my only day i could have had a lie in :rotfl:

No wins for me so far this week despite my good feeling.

Hope you feel brighter soon and have a nice win to cheer you up Becks. You should see the hours my DS3 is working just now and he doesn't get paid any extra. I don't know how the industry gets away with it but nearly every hotel is the same especially with apprentices. Still he did get nearly £400 in tips to cheer him up.
It is easier when you just need to walk to work waiting for buses must be a real pain.
Hope everyone has a lucky day. I seem to be having lots of little wins which is great but would like a bigger one to end my comping year!

Didn't do any comps myself yesterday as was too busy at hospital and worrying to be bothered so will need to get to it today.
