Sheils, Are those pancakes I see there? I know what you mean about the weather, its funny how if the weather is bad we want to eat more somehow! I am trying to lose weight but its a continual battle.
How long will you be able to go away for, is it just the weekend or will you be able to catch a week?
Zombi - did you get to your course last night? Was it good?
PMS - How time flies, sounds like your nephew is doing good, didn't realise it was 5 weeks ago, lets all hope and pray that he will be big enough to come for Christmas, that would be fantastic.
Just an update for any of you that were following me back in June/Early July when I told you about my DD's FIL in Newcastle Heart Hospital and the machine he is being kept alive on? Anyway he has had a lot of ups and downs but is going home for the weekend with a view to him going home next week. So fingers crossed for him while he waits for a new heart.
Wingo, didn't watch 999 but thats a sad life some people have isn't it.
Must go and see the DGD off to school, thats when she can tear herself from the mirror, teenagers, we never used to be able to go to schooll with makeup and a pelmet for a skirt. What is this world coming to. LOL
Catch you all later.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Morning all, still rather sleepy this morning, kept waking up to hear the wind and the rain outside.
Hope everyone has a good day. Been a relatively quiet week post wise, maybe he has been storing it up for me£2 Savers Club for 2022 #120 -
Yes Sylvia mum says she will watch them for a week - not until next year though. Will be nice to get away outside school hols. Will have a think about it after next weeks holiday.
Your DGD sounds like my DD who is 14 and at the mirror right now and with tiny skirt!
Glad your DD's FIL is doing well.
It was a dreadful night here too Becks - looking ok now but a bit windy.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Morning all. Here I am in the Inn, so we know what that means...
Yes, there's a Times hourly comp tomorrow to win an iPhone 5. Have put a place-holder thread here and will add the entry link as soon as I can. If the weather stays bad we can all stay in and try to win one.
I haven't been around much lately as work has been mad and I haven't been able to pop in during the day as I sometimes can. I work from home so I can generally arrange the day as I want it, but it's just been too busy to do anything but slave away all day and into the evening. I have next week off though so am looking forward to that - off to North Norfolk for a few days to do some bird watching - the exciting life I lead!
I've had a few little wins in October, 3 more books and a tiny prize from the Shloer comp.
Hope you're all well and that the postie brings you something nice.0 -

Hi SueMaggie,
Thanks for warning- I am off to S.Wales on Sunday so will be able to enter on Saturday between packing!
Well done on the wins. Hope you have a lovely break.
Postman has just brought me my signed "Angel Dust" book and Urban Decay make-up after chasing it up the other day. Make-up didn't look like £40 worth but have looked it up and it retails at £35. Putting it away for Xmas but will read the book myself.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Ooh thanks SueMaggie :j DD is not gonna be happy....I promised her I would take her to get her ears pierced but if I go later in the day maybe...:D
I was a wet and horrible night here to Sheils. I forgot about roof again and when I got up dd's bed was soaked from the roof leaking.think its gonna have to have full roof re-surfaced, just can't afford it!
Enjoy Wales Sheils
Sylvia, my eldest DD is nearly 13 but already sits at the mirror doing her hair for ages. Theyre not allowed to wear make up in their school thankfully for when it happens! I know what you mean about the skirts, they don't make them now to come down to the knee!
Good luck with the post Becks
I had a daybreak call today about the goodie bags! My hubby wold normally go straight to bed after working nights but he was still up when I came back from school, he was all excited to tell me I had a call from daybreak! :rotfl: I knew it would be about the goodie bag, he's gone to bed in a mood now!
Have a great day everyonex
