Not sure Sylvia - not used to going away without kids! Tempted to try a city break like Paris or Barcelona.
Bit shocked to see the pics in SW England hope S. Wales will be OK. Flooding really scares me.
I'm about ready for bed too.

Just a quick update on my nephew, he was born at 26 weeks & is now 5 weeks old. He weighed 2lb (got weighed sometime last week) at last weigh in. He's had to have 2 blood transfusions so far but is doing ok, my sis hasn't seen him for a few days due to her not being so good (cold/cough etc) so can't visit in neonatal incase of infection. We are hoping he'll be well enough to come home for Christmas, I know that's a while off but he needs to be around 5lb before he can come home.

My niece will be 1 at the end of this month, she was born at 29 weeks & weighed 3lb 2oz. Although she is still small for her age she is thriving. It would be just magical to have them both together for Christmas.

Becks, I didn't realise that about the globe thingy on fb either! Thanksfor letting us know! :A fb often worries me too, never know if I'm spamming non comping folk with my comps!

Sheils, that's good of your mum to have the kids city break sounds lovely! I've always said to hubby when the kids are old enough to be on their own I'd like to go to Sorrento (I'm lucky if he takes me to tesco!:D)

I'm watching that 999 again....the women going out at 12.20 at night when the money goes in bank so they can go out on the razzle it's shocking!

Sadly no I haven't met him yet, the neonatal unit will only allow parents & grandparents to visit - this is to try limit infections on all the babies in the unit. I have seen plenty of photos & he is gorgeous!!! My sis hasn't added any new photos to Facebook for a few weeks but when she does I'll share some on there.

I didn't get to meet my niece until she was 2 months old as it was the same then with her being premature too. I don't know her weight now but bought her an outfit for her birthday size 6-9 months & it's a little big for her - she is roughly the size of a 6 month old but is so fast at crawling I'm sure she'll be walking soon!

Hope today will be better than yesterday - all this rain is depressing and not good for the weight as I don't get out for a walk.
Must get housework up to date.
