wingobins yes I got the Kindle Fire for £99 on Amazon. My family give me money last Christmas for a Kindle and I held off to see if I would win one. As time went on I seen the new Kindle Fire and thought I would prefer that. Only problem was they weren't released yet and when they were it was only in the USA. So in April of this year bought an ordinary Kindle. Love it as I love reading books. So handy. The Kindle Fire were originally £159 and then last week saw them at £129 so when Amazon were selling them at £99 I couldn't resist buying one.

wingobins hope you get your water leak sorted. Now coming into the winter you will be fed up to the back teeth will water leaks. The last house I lived in (newly built) had leaks, there was water running down the upstairs bedroom, water from the showerroom onto my cooker in the kitchen, leaks in the downstairs bathroom and water coming up through the cemented hall, oh and a small leak from the ceiling leaking onto the bottom of my stairs. I was ready for the local loony bin. The builder had to come back and fix the leaks, the neighbours began to think our house was the builders site office, they never left it. Is it any wonder my marriage broke up, my husband hadn't wanted to move there in the first place.
Just had a spooky thing happen there now, while I was typing my laptop started playing this spooky music and I heard a couple of camera clicks!!! It happened a couple of times.
Which reminds me does anyone know how to work the camera on a hp laptop? I have googled it but am still none the wiser. Last night I was trying to get it to work, the camera works ok when I am Skyping. I can't get it to work if say I wanted to take a picture of something to sell on ebay. I was able to do this when I borrowed my ex's laptop. My daughter and I have loads of stuff we want to sell but at present I can't take a picture of them. Now I am getting images of the sun appearing on my screen!!!

I don't blame you Sheils getting away. I would do the same given the chance you should shop around for best prices for your coins. I quoted about a phone and it was totally different prices in two places! Hope you get a good price for them

Hi Dreams, I'm not sure about camera on hp laptop but maybe someone in techie thread could help! I just thought you had to connect a camera and download into photo bucket or something! I'm useless with technology.

Yeah my house is full of leaks too, has been since moving in ten yrs ago. It just costs too much to fix so hubby been trying to most of work. While I know there's things he is good at....sometimes I think he's making it worse! he was a window fitter/maker for yrs and I've had new patio doors sat in garage waiting to be fitted for 8 yrs now

Aren't there 2 different Kindle Fire's Dreams? I know when we bough DH's Amazon had 1 at £129 and one at £159. I think it's the £129 they have for £99 for Black Friday.

Think I saw the Kindle Fire on Carphone Warehouse for £98 if anyone misses the Amazon deal that wants one.
Sorry Dreams don't even know how to work the camera on my own laptop.
Must be really annoying having leaks Wingo - garage had one and that was bad enough. Still waiting on a plastic connector thing to be put on the gutters for another leak. (Waiting on the builder not DH). Builder only lives accross the road so will wait ages I expect.

The one in the Times is the HD version whixh is either 16gb or 32gb and is £159.99 / £199.99
