Morning all,

Been raining here all night but hopefully drying up now - ever the optimist!

Won a Bacardi Oakheart Stein Glass this morning on FB to go with the bottle so maybe this week will be luckier for me.
Can't believe it is less than a month until Xmas! Must get some things in Blackpool tomorrow. DH has been busy planning an excursion into the Lakes for the way home which involves visiting Grange over Sands to buy his favourite pies from the award winning butcher there! We are trying to visit all the main lakes and have managed about half so far.
Must get on.

Morning all

Right time for a nice hot bath havin made sure DH got to bus ok for his train to London for hospital. Very selfish of me but last night was the one night I wanted to sleep and because DH didn't sleep well I was awake a lot too amd so really not feeling it today :rotfl:

Morning everyone. I'm waiting with towels at the ready for DH and Cooper who are out and the heavens have just opened I've never known it rain quite so hard. DD is driving back from Berkshire today, hope she takes it steady.

Going to see Dad today, it's his 87th Birthday, hope I've got his genes, he still has 2 elder Brothers and an older Sister living.

FireFly That tea/coffee look just like I like it, steaming hot and those choc chip muffins look lovely, think I will have one of those warm with my drink :T


Becks - the sound of a bath is lovely right now, only have a shower and really miss the bath. That's what was in when we moved in. Hope DH gets on Ok at hospital. When DH won the Lipsy dress we had to remind them after 28 days so hope yours comes sooner.


Well done on the Oakheart Glass Sheils and do have a lovely time away.


B.Sue - hope your Dad has a lovely 87th birthday. Hope Cooper and your DH dont get too wet.




He won't need to jump in the water today as there is probably enough of it about already

Must get Cooper one of those hats, love that pic!

They were soaked and Coops was mud from the stomach down. I had to stick him straight into the shower. Now we have blue skies and fluffy white clouds....typical!

Sylvia when you won the lipsy dress how quick did someone get in touch to ask you about size etc?

Hi Becks, After 28 days I sent a polite email. They then said if we sent size details they would send a dress. We emailed back saying that the comp said we had a choice of dresses so they then agreed for us to choose. It came quite quickly after that and was well worth the wait it was absolutely beautiful and well worth the persistence and the wait.
If I were you I would email them nicely now and say you would really like it ASAP as you would like to wear it for a party and I am sure they will oblige. Good luck

Oh dear poor Cooper B.Sue. Expect he is now shaking himself all over your nice clean floors. Lottie won't go out for a walk if its raining or windy she just refuses to budge but Suckie will go out in any weather.
