The wrist to be honest is so painful, swollen and stiff. Went to my first physio and I she told me I just need to let my body heal it and rest up. Just got to be patient I guess

Did they xray it again when they took thecast off? Hope it feels better for you soon.

Right bed time. I have somehow lost about three hours talking to the bestie :rotfl:

They didn't take another x-ray when the cast came off but two different sets of people looked at it before I left the fracture clinic. Everyone just seems to say do the exercises, rest up and let nature heal. It is getting better a little every day but just so painful still, just annoyed really that I broke it as its stopping me from doing normal everyday things.

Morning all,

Just popped in to wish everyone a lovely weekend. Probably won't be around as much for the next week as our internet usage is away up and I don't feel like being charged the extra. We only get 60g and free usage between 12pm and 8am which we pay £18 a month for with Plusnet. Keep trying to find something better but as we don't really use our phone much packages never seem to work out cheaper and as we have an old telephone exchange we pay double with everyone - sigh!
Really cold and frosty this morning but hopefully be OK later. Hope everyones luck continues. The dailies seem to have forgotten me.
Going to concentrate on my Xmas shopping instead I think.

Morning all, at last a dry day (so far). Heard from DD last night, she's on a 4 night Spa break at Champneys paid for with some of the vouchers that she won. She's been in the gym at 7am every day so far, sounds very relaxing.....NOT!

The Christmas Channel on SKY is one of the free ones, we don't pay for Movie channels. Thinking about it I still have films on DVD that I had for Christmas and Birthday last year that I haven't watched yet.

Must go and pick up my new glasses this morning. I only need them for reading and laptop so I wanted a really light pair, mine are so heavy.

Sheils hope you manage to get on here, it would be a shame to miss out on your comps. I've never really thought about Internet usage we've got DD a tablet for Xmas too so I can imagine how much it's using!

i remember all our pets first christmas's especially when it had snowed overnight & they'd not seen it before, was so funny to see them putting thier paws in & jumping up :rotfl:bless
one of our dogs used to shovel his nose in the snow & looked so funny :eek::rotfl:

The kids wanted a doggie stocking for him so I got one from poundland and when I came home with bags it was like he knew there was something in bag for him, he tried to rummage through bags so I put them upstairs and he followed me barking at me! I've told him he's not getting it now...I'm giving it to the cat next door!
