Keep forgetting to do the Times comp, sigh, only got 2 in so far.

DD just came in with a bouquet of flowers, Hovis loaf and a cheesecake! She was in Tesco as they were reducing prices and got them all for 10p each. How is that for bringing her up in a MSE way?

Oh! Just reading posts, longing for some warm sunshine on me bones A wee bit chilly here so have just put heating on for hour or so - its not so bad - been raining on and off, guess there will be more fireworks tonite.

Hope the wee kittens are ok lil, thank goodness they found shelter with you. Everything and paws crossed for them. Hope all goes well. xxxxxx

My lovely neighbour's elderly mum had a bad fall last night and broke her hip:( They are at hosp now with her, have been all day. They are in my thoughts. :A

Looking forward to xfactor and downton abbey tonight. Already had my dinner today, was so hungry, had it 1 pm'ish. Had lovely homemade Cornish veggie cheese pie with new potatoes and broc. Couldnt face dealing with peas today after yesterday's green ball explosion!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Your dins sounds delicious ff - you have inspired me!! must start using my slowcooker more, makes sense - think I will cook garden veggies in it tomorrow in sauce (maybe make a bit of a curry) with rice on the side. Got recipe book out now having a look. Slowcooker was wedding gift over 30 years ago and served us well.

Time to fire it up again and get cooking in it!!! Havent used it for past year but just turned it on, it's still working!!! Quite excited now - :T:T:A Will let you know tomorrow how I got on. xxxx
