Grr,just lost my post when I nudged the laptop. Will have to do a quick one ,as we are in the middle of decorating but its going quite well, and looking good.Should finish it tomorrow, then we will be shifting furniture around.

Had hm chicken soup for our dinner(lunch to you Southerners :D),very nice and another pot left for another day. We're meeting some friends for a cheapie meal tonight,so no tea needed. Not sure what DSons are up to,sure they'll find something in the fridge if they need to.

Better go and show willing and help DH again.Hope you are all well and have a good evening x

    Afternoon All

Well, DD has done it again! Last Saturday I had to rush her purse to her when she was on her way to work and today she managed to hit a 'rock' on the road and gouged the tyre. Personally I think she hit the kerb!! Anyway I had to go for her car and take it for a new tyre, £65. The alloy is bent too but she will have to suffer that.

Please be careful, alloys which have the slightest damaged are usually cracked and thus dangerous.

    afternoon!

been a gorgeous day here!:j lots of washing done and dried.

Shopping done for the week - am trying to plan more and am trying some new recipes as its too easy to get stuck in a rut and use convenience stuff for speed when you work full time.

This week I got some nice fish for a fish pie which I will double up and freeze for next week. Also planning on doing the same with veggie lasagne, veggie chilli, and trying the Hairy Dieters version of pastry for veggie pies using a packet of pizza base mix.

Tomorrow DH is off fishing - he's still not too well with his sciatica and needs a day out relaxing.

I'm off to an art exhibition and might also do a spot of painting if I see somewhere nice.:)

(((hugs))) to those in need of them x

    Take care all.

Off to have tea before Strictly(the gorgeous Colin did well last night:o:D)

Morning all - I haven't had much sleep as one of the cats got into the bedroom and spent all night trying to sleep on my face, then running under the bed when I tried to grab her.

I feel for you there, my old cat Edwin had a thing for sneaking in late at night or whenever he decided I'd slept long enough in the early hours of the morning and attack my feet!

    Evening all,

Did a massive shop this morning and then went to DD4 for brunch, DGS2 is still loving rugby and DD met people she knew so was a nice social outing for her.

Washing out....have left towels and dishtowels out as like them to get the night air....not sure why, but think that they are softer afterwards.

Still knitting like a machine, seems to be taking me a long time to get on with the blankets I am doing....can't see them all done for Christmas so will have to put thinking cap on for other ideas for some of the family.

Will watch some tv later on....not sure what as OH is usually in charge of remote control, so it will probably be sport....the things I let that man away with!

Hugs to all who need them for whatever reason, stay safe and keep warm

Evening all been a bit under the weather the last couple of days ,my cold developed a bit more then dried up but last night my bad arm flared up (I have Lymphodema ) and its blooming painful.Looks like the size of an elephants trunk and bright red and itches like mad.I straight away started on my anti-biotics (I have to keep a supply at home with me all the time) so I am hoping that by Monday or Tuesday the swelling will go down.Blooming nuisance though. My immune system was ruined by chemo four years ago and if I get a cold, the infection always goes to my arm.Daft really to say I have a cold in my arm,:):) but basically thats exactly whats happened
Apart from that eldest DD turned up tonight for a chinwag as her OH had gone to see West Ham (his favourite team) get walloped by Arsenal and we had a nice couple of hours just nattering .
DGS Ben had his second interview with Iceland today for the part-time job so fingers crossed they will let him know if he's got it some time this week.I do hope he has, fingers crossed
Tomorrow I have to make some cakes as on Monday our Book Club will be a year old so we are having a small celebration and everyone is bring something in
Right I'm off for a shower in the hope of cooling down this blessed arm(you could fry an egg on it at the moment
Take care all and my thoughts and prayers are with poor little April's family tonight
    God Bless all here
