Victim of eBay fraud. What to do?

If all else fails, send a letter to the registered address, setting out the details of the purchase and bank transfer and enclosing a print-out of the ebay invoice.
Tell them you require delivery of the laptop within 7 days, failing which you will commence proceedings in the county court.
THEN DO IT
You can make a claim online using moneyclaim. It is easy and takes you through the process step by step.
If you need help, please feel free to PM me.

I bought one of those laptops, and it was delivered fine!! but that was before the account became unregistered. I'd suggests u be patient because the seller was very unresponsive and considering the fact that they are no longer on e-bay. they might not even be checking mails from ebay. You can write a letter to 60 henderson. I think thats the best way!!!!
Looks like the sellers just found this thread

Would be good to hear what the outcome of this saga was. I've just purchased some Quickbooks software on eBay and payment needs to be sent to:
Folight ltd

Before sending any money off blindly for stuff bought on eBay (especially when the seller does not reply to emails!) I always do my research first. In doing so I found this thread and the alarm bells started ringing! :eek:0 -

Do they only offer cheques as payment as even that to me looks odd for someone apparently trading as a company? What is the sellers feedback like, is this their normal type of item and what type fo money is involved?
I'm far too cautious and don't use non recoverable payment methods but many do, so as long as you are 100% happy with the seller I can't see why you would suddenly need to be concerned now after purchase.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I too saw this software for sale on Ebay & contacted the seller about payment methods. I was a little concerned that I could not pay by Paypal & on searching the net came across this forum. I am glad I did too!. After reading the various tales I emailed them to say I was no longer interested.
Why do Ebay let this go on?. It is doing them no good, surely they are not making money from these people?.0
