Trying and failing to get BT Infinity installed

I'm pleased to say that BT installed my BT Infinity yesterday and getting download speeds of nearly 68mb, which is amazing. Many thanks to Patrick, BT representative on this forum for his kind help.

To be fair to BT for some reason the original order started on 5 September had got frozen in the BT system and things started to motor once this order was cancelled and a new order raised. Patrick has been really helpful and someone from BT has phoned each day to advise of progress; the Open reach engineer was very helpful and after the install, stayed to try and help me get emails up and running. So I feel that the people in BT have tried hard to get things sorted out, and they deserve praise for this.

Gazpablo, congrats and a big thumbs up to BT for monitoring the site and trying to help. I have just initiated a switch from orange to BT due to problems with orange. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=56564039&postcount=1632

I did notice infinity in my area was due to be available end of septmeber but now shows end Dec I hope it doent slip again, so for now I have just had ro order bog standard broadband.

I hope my experience of customer services matches that you have received lately if I require it.
