Parcel Delivered to wrong address - what happens?

You might have to knock on a few doors and if no joy contact the sender as they (check invoice details in case you entered the wrong number in error) sent to wrong address.
I live on ***** Close off ***** Road, as you turn off ***** Road on to the Close there are a few houses and then a T junction. To the right is ***** Close, to the left are a few more houses that belong to ***** Close and then ***** Mews.
Now the sign says ***** Mews quite clearly yet one time I had UPS claim they had delivered the package to me when they actually delivered it to an old Lady in a Maisonette!
Luckily my parcel was retrieved (by Me), but delivery drivers should read address labels and check exactly where they are before delivering.
I am guessing in your case the parcel was delivered to #3 if there is no #30!Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Do you have your email confirmation of the order? Does that show the address you entered?0

Theonlywayisup - Zoeybob is a would-be spammer trying to get their post count up so they can post links - I have reported it, but the more who do,the better to get their account deleted to avoid future pages of rubbish!"When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes" - Erasmus0

Everything appears to have the incorrect address - the invoice, confirmation email, parcel (or so the courier told me) etc - not too sure how it happened, it'd be pretty silly of me to order over £100 worth of stuff and enter incorrect shipping/billing addresses - will this make a difference when it comes to either getting my original parcel, a replacement or a refund?
I paid extra for a faster delivery service, so i did want my parcel sooner rather than later.
I just want what i ordered.....0 -

Looks like it was your error - it's easily done when typing something so familiar. You need to get the carrier to find out from the driver where this was delivered to. If no 30 does not exist the driver may well be able to remember where it was delivered.
The couriers told me that it was delivered to no 3 xxxx rd - i called round and they know nothing of a parcel being delivered!!!!0 -
Ask the courier which name signed for the parcel, they probably even supply you with this proof via email. If the recipient is genuine then they will have signed their own name and surely someone in the street will know who they are.
It's also possible that the driver left the parcel 'somewhere safe' at the address given and signed it himself.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0
