BBC iPlayer live viewing on an Android tablet

I recently bought an Acer tablet. I have the BBC iplayer installed on it, but I can't find the link to live tv streaming.

I'm sure I watched live bbc tv on my desktop iplayer.

It is available on my HTC desire android smartphone.

Is live tv available on the iplayer on Android tablets, or am I looking in the wrong place.

Not sure it's what you are after but I use ROK TV.

BBC, ITV, Channel4 etc all live streaming..

I watch live TV on my Nexus 7 android tablet. The live TV menu is accessible from the three little lines at the top right of the home-screen.

Thanks for that. I get the same thing on my smartphone's iPlayer, but I haven't found it on the one on my tablet.

I only have a sumvision tablet but from the app store I have downloaded Catch up TV app which means I can watch about 30 ish channels. Not perfect but most of the time works absolutely fine. Find it very handy when kids want to watch something that I dont fancy. Hope this helps.
