My head at the beginning had CC PPI in it which is why I commented
on it being on every single statement. I stand corrected if it was indeed a loan.

But for a loan the PPI would have been itemised out on the original paperwork.

If people fail to read the small print before actually signing something so important well, for possibly borrowing thousands of pounds, well, that is just plain stupidity

Well, judging by this forum, an awful lot of us were completely stupid, myself included, because we just didn't understand the product, or that it was optional, otherwise, I'm sure more of us wouldn't have been :D

    Oh, I didn't say 'completely';)

    Hindsight is 20/20 vision.

Ive probably done it myself, not read the small print I mean but I have probably been lucky as nothing has come back to bite me in the bum, but I can say Ive never paid PPI, I'm far too greedy to be paying someone for nothing tangible.

If I had PPI, I may have been in the same boat, you just never know.

    Hi
Interesting reading. I never had any monthly statements just the set payment which went out of my bank monthly for 36 months. I'm probably guilty of not reading the small print but I know that each time I have been asked about PPI I have always declined it.
I am assuming it is the car loan that the PPI has been added to but at this stage I have no idea, this was paid off in 2010 and I have never heard of the company involved.
Since then I have moved home and shredded the agreement so I dont hold out much hope of any finances from this, but then I never knew I had it in the first place!
