    I have a 2004 Peugeot 206.
Just today it started not responding when I turn the key in the ignition to start. No lights, no noise, no nothing :(. Not even an engine trying to turn over.
Looked under the bonnet - no signs of damp or anything loose.
A few minutes later, it starts no problem - though the date etc on the dashboard is flashing because it has unset itself.
It drives fine but after parking up just for a few moments, I have the same palaver trying to start up. It did this 3 times this morning.
Just wondered if anyone could give me an idea what it could be so that I don't sound totally clueless with the garage.
    Cheers
battery leads lose, engine or gearbox earth strap broken or lose

To be fair they seem to have gone out of their way to help.

On a general note....... Typical Peugeot/Citroen electrical problems.

Mine will turn over, cut out completely (resetting the clock) and then start fine after that.. If you do get any clues from the garage, let me know!
Good luck and sorry i couldn't be of any help :(

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but this may be useful!

It was the battery on it's way out.. it was draining all the charge trying to start which was causing everything to reset.
