I really appreciate the help, probe away. This is a postcode in my block: HU17 0AL

Ok you can get BT total broadband, but it is slower than your present speed, not really a problem unless you play online games or stream movies or TV from the internet. Also the download limit may be less than what you have.
So depending on your internet usage, you could get broadband and evening and weekend calls for about £35 per month (obviously I don't know the details of your KC package to make a full comparison) but at least that option is there for you.
For information I went through moneysupermarket.com

Also because I could not go through the whole application process, I do not know if there is a problem getting BT in a KC area

So £62 per month for vet/ins/pet food?

Yes, that is correct. It is a lifetime policy with 150 & 10% excess with premiums of £22 a month.

I currently feed him 2/3 Wagg & 1/3 Purina Beta.

Great, Many thanks. I will call KC now and see how locked into this contract I am, see if I can get a reduction and switch as soon as possible.

    I will post the results.

Sadly it is not possible. Kingston own the switches and the DSLAMs and do not currently share these.

There is no co-location in the exchange.

KC actually predates BT (or the Post Office as it was at the time).

    Many thanks for trying though.
  • Telephone (land line) is very high. Get it lowered, or move to another company.

Mobile phone is very very high. Reduce it a LOT, or go PAYG.

Is the £40 for groceries per month?

Dog Food seems very high How many dogs do you have? You are spending as much to feed your dog(s) as you are to feed three people.

Unfortunately moving to another company is not an option where I live. I am attempting to get it reduced.

I am addressing this, but will need to keep a contract mobile as I make a lot of unavoidable mobile calls. The best offer I have found for my needs is £15.55 which I can adopt on the 26th of October. I am going to default on my daughters mobile which she does not use.

I have one dog, a large Labrador. I feed him a mix of 2/3 Wagg, 1/3 Purina. I am exploring the option of talking to a local butcher about prices of raw meat off cuts at the end of each day.

I buy all our food when it gets reduced to 10% or 1p if I am lucky on a daily basis at the local supermarket.

    Many thanks for your help.

You need to get rid of your car

I would like to but public transport would not allow me to attend all the self help meetings I need to attend in order to recover from my illness, or at least get it into remission, and be able to work again.

Awww, I love Labradors (pics on the Pet Care forum please? ;) ), but yikes, how much are you feeding him? We have a collie cross and she gets fed Wagg twice a day and one treat a day, we spend about £20 a month max!

I agree with trying to get your daughter to cover the cost of the broken iPhone and contract, if she's old enough.
