we bought ourselves one of these. works a treat. you can set the depth of slice you want. no more 'half pipe' bread
That's the sort of thing I meant my Mum has got. It's more bulky than a knife but is utterly reliable in cutting bread.0 -
its brilliant. and its also good at cutting joints of meat etc. well worth the moneyEven a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day, and for once I'm inclined to believe Withnail is right. We are indeed drifting into the arena of the unwell.0

Electric knife user here too. Use it for meat and bread, have done since my hands because a bit knackered. Works wonders!4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Electric carving knife, mine was about £7 from morrisons, never fails and can be chucked in a cupboard when not in use (blades go in their plastic sleeve in the cutlery drawer)0
