those 2 way look very expensive

this might be worth a try this instead

its only one way you still need to keep your telephone line connected but might be suitable

You can get two way sat for both up and down or one way sat for down and you still need a tel line for up.
I'm on a long line so don't get great speeds. I'd go with sat internet if I could get a good one at a reasonable price.
Haven't found one yet though.

I used to have satellite broadband from bt. It was expensive, and very slow. Marginally faster than dial up. Slower than any dsl. Dropped out regularly. I only had it 'cos I couldn't get dsl at the time. Stick with what you have!
