Slow Celeron processor, not enough RAM memory, and NO COPY OF WINDOWS.

Not a bad price if you want an internet browsing PC and have a copy of Windows to put on it.

It's not that cheap really when you add the VAT.

Has no DVD writer, a bare minimum amount of memory and a very dated CPU. Couldn't find mention of an operating system at all there either.

Dell often do far better deals for a similar price so it's well worth looking out for those (and they tend to get posted on here aswell).

If you have £400 to burn and you don't need the Medion onsite warranty

I don't think you get the 3 year Medion Warranty with Woolworths Medions, only at Aldi.

Woolworth's ones are different as well. far lower spec.

Sounds like a very old celeron, I bet it only has 256MB of ram too!

You could probably have got it cheaper elsewhere.

Oh yes? Show me if you can.

Please tell how a nephew gets you an extra 10% off? I'm guessing it's some sort of child related 10% or perhaps he works there.

    staff discount:D

i was wondering why so many were sent out last week from the warehouse and i had to pick them:D

I have heard nothing but good reports about this company - quick, reliable, hassle free, customer service ( no doubt someone will now shatter my illusions)

From good experiene Medion sevice is crap, parts often not in stock and they have to order from Germany which can take a while, hopefully tou wont have to use them.

Sorry, this type of post is no help at all. You're trying to put people off what is a cracking deal without even checking the facts. You're not the only poster in this thread doing this though.

Why is it, when somebody finds an obvious bargain, people have to make up scare stories to try and put them down. Sometimes it's easier just to press the "Thanks" button and move on.
    Can I help?

I don't know alot about computers but this looks good, the hard drive at 80GB isn't that big - depends what you are using it for and you can always upgrade or put an extra hard drive in if it's not enough.
Thanks rdwarr for your comments, as I said I do not know alot about computers and was disappointed by some of the comments on here, I am very pleased with what I have got for my money and wanted to let others know about it. I did not expect as much negativity on what I thought was a friendly, supportive forum.
That said I think I might have to splash out on a wireless router as it is not very practicle to run a phone cable to where I want to put the new computer, I have been suprised at the cost of them and unless I find a bargain I might have to get the drill out and start going through walls !
