Woolworths - Medion 3.2 reduced to £250.00

I brought one today with my nephew in tow so I got an extra £25 (10%) off.
I got the last one in my home town but they might have a few left in other stores
Includes a DVD rewritter, Colour printer 15" flat screen
Processor 3.2GHz
512 KB L2 Cache
533 FSB
160 GB Hard drive
They are clearing these out as I guess the new ones will have Vista on them, They were originally £399.00 so I am well chuffed that I got one for £225.00.
I have heard nothing but good reports about this company - quick, reliable, hassle free, customer service ( no doubt someone will now shatter my illusions)
Now I just have to find space to set it up and leave this old thing for my partner to use:D

If you have £400 to burn and you don't need the Medion onsite warranty (i.e you're not a novice computer person), I'd go for this:
http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/125244/rb/26758366718
Much much better value for you money.

If you're paying under £300, online gives the best deals unless you happen across some decent clearance items. Try this one:

However, its one of those things where if you pay too little for a computer, it mainly goes towards the basic foundations of the PC. If you pay too much, then you are hit by depreciation.
Personally, I'd recommend you up your budget to £400. To put it bluntly, for an extra 30% you can get a machine at least 50% more powerful.

is this any good can someone tell me? it seems to cheap0 -
Hmm....looks okay. I wouldn't buy it, but it looks okay for minimal use. Would ask what version of Windows comes with it though. Everything on this machine is minimalistic which means it will be slow once you start using it, but it is okay if this is your budget. Also, minimalistic means no DVD player, and possibly not even a reasonable machine to play any modern games.
