Anyone on O2 PAYG..new offers
Hi all,
I am on O2 PAYG ( 25p for 1st 3 minutes per day then 5p after that and 2p at weekends, landline and other O2)and have found some info that you may or may not already know but I hope its usefull to someone.
1. When you top up £10 a month you get 300 text messages free, now I didn`t know but these can be converted to 100 anytime/anynetwork minnutes fror free. So in effect for £10 you get 100 minutes PLUS a further £10 of call time. ( the 100 free minutes can also be used as text messages or a combination of both) The link is here

2. Get 10% of all top ups back every 3 months simply by sending a text.Link here

3. Upgrade at reduced cost. I got £45 off a new phone last week.

AND get 10% back on top ups.
I`ts not clear to me if you can claim both 10% discounts as I bought my phone just before 1st April when this offer started.
So if I top up £20 each month I get ( assuming the £20 covers the cost of the first 3 minutes each day at 25p and phone is used 26 days a month, thats 75p x 26 days)
100 anytime/anynetwork mins
78 minutes to landline or O2 peak rate.( thats the 3 mins per day )
£2 bonus that will get me 40 mins peak or 100 minutes weekend to other O2 and landlines. Of course, if you use your phone less than 26 days a month you are quids in.
If I need to pay for extra its 5p or 2p a minute.
An added bonus is that during the day and at weekends O2 is the cheapest to call from a landline ,In fact if on the mobile caller plan with BT its cheaper to use BT than 18866. link here
bt prices to mobiles
I hope this is of help to someone, but if there is a better deal out there for me I would like to know.
Regards
Besty

On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.
