Orange broadband nightmare

Hi, I've been with orange now for 4 months, the 1st month was constantly off, on for an hour then off for 2-3 days with line issues, it got a little better but the fault continued everytime I used the Internet. Still haven't had a day where I haven't had an issue. Everytime I called I got there Indian call centre where they all read from script (which annoyed me because I know how to detect problems and how to explain the fault but they couldnt understand unless they where up to the specific part on the script!)
Anyway, I have just moved address and they cannot get my broadband activated for a month due to engineers being needed to activate my line.
Is there anyway out of this contract or am I just goin to have to deal with them for another 8 month?
Just feel annoyed that I could have so many problems with an ISP, I was with virgin for 18months and never had a problem but changed because there offer looked to good to refuse

I have Orange and seems to be ok, however family member has the same issues you have, but with BT, called and threatened to leave even though in contract, got through to uk call centre and engineer was booked in 3 days, not sure if that will work, but tell them you get cash back with another company and not losing out? hope that helps, its very frustrating!0

If there is no line at the new address, one month is pretty much standard for OR to provision it.
Accepting the home move almost certainly starts you on another 12m minimum term, I don't think they'll let you go after 8 months without an ETC, if they've provided a free switch. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Trouble is, your at the mercy of Openreach who provide the line, part of BTplc.0
