It does blow a large hole in their 'our dongle makes you safe' advertising though...Guys, i found out it was a block on some ip's and my fault for not telling them im going abroad
I don't usually tell them I'm going either (their debit card is about 4th in line), but hasn't affected access to online banking so far.0 -

all sorted now.
I had that same problem with one of the larger banks. This bank had a blacklist of some ip's and a VPN that I use has one of their connections on that blacklist. Funnily enough I use the VPN from quite a few different countries just to keep my banking and trading more secure.
Some banks also do not like log-ons in certain countries where fraud is more commonplace.0
