Yeah, don't focus them in this direction please - although it would have to be somewhat miraculous (I was going to type the second coming , but had second thoughts :rotfl: I think the glass of beer has gone to my head!)0 -

Anyway....it's the weekend, and you know some people would be really grateful for the kind of safety my lack of fertility brings. Tbh, I am really, really cool about it ATM, in a very good emotional place with it right now...so all my positive thoughts on that subject are now focused on Miskolc and the chewies. (Btw, auto correct changes chewies to chewiness, isn't that great?)
Life is full of surprises though so it is best to just go with the flow ...and stay well.
I had no plans to have a baby and having PCOS it was thought it would be a bit of a trial...however I discovered I was 19 weeks pregnant when I still had an IUD and no obvious (to me) signs:eek:
Then when we did want a second child I conceived but the pregnancy did not stay for more than a few weeks...and then nothing. Neither Mr S nor I wanted to go through a fertility regime , then my arteries made their presence felt so that was it. I am grateful for the daughter I have and believe everything happens for a reason.0 -
I have pcos too spirit, but for me it isn't really a coffin nail feeling about that...I talked to a leading specialist when I was diagnosed (only after I got ill in my twenties) and he pointed out that pcos tends to run in maternal lines, which means its not the total barrier, (in well women) that people perceive, and that often the pcos is blamed when really it's not pcos it's poorly managed pcos...like being overweight, which is obviously a pcos problem.
Anyway, I have been pregnant in the past, before I was ill. I might even have been pregnant and lost very early. Difficult to tell at the time, (I was not peeing on sticks at the time). I am not convinced my genetics make creating a baby the most loving act I could do anyway.
Anyway, like I say, I am cool about it. We'll still be 'trying' with enthusiasm when we are far too old anyway.

Sorry to the men....
I recently menstruated and my breasts feel normal. Despite the very slim chance of me getting pregnant I have felt moved to pee on a stick on several occasions...it would be quite ironic if the time I feel most like I am alone here I have company. I just don't feel 'pregnant' though when I have hoped and thought maybe I was I wasn't , so what do I know, lol.
Apparently some women never "feel" pregnant and some still continue to spot throughout their pregnancy.
So, pee on a stick if you feel like it!0 -

That is a pretty healthy aim. How long will the rebuild take?
Don't let the dinosaur who employed you last put you off.0 -

Not yet. I took a big confidence knock - don't want to get another knock before that dent's out. Also, I wanted to rebuild my stuff before hunting as then it can be left to grow.... and there are things occurring at a distance that I might choose to take time out for randomly - and you can't book annual leave when in a job (lack of it, inflexible).
I keep meeting to write a load of professional shopper blog pages and ask you to monetize them and give me a cut of the income.I think....0 -
Micheals I did something MSE today. Not sure I went as far as savvy shopping. I did not ugrade my iPhone but reduced my tariif from £36+ to £15+.
Still a lousy signal at home though. I have to buy some box for £100 and all will be well they told me.0 -

Despite having been present when all our children were born, I am really far too squeamish. My wife loves to watch CTM, and she watched it whilst we were away on holiday. So, that was CTM on, and me off downstairs for an hour with a book, so I didn't get too traumatised.
(CTM = Call the Midwife, by the way.)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
