Find out pn, you just never know till you find out.

E.g. Personally a murder or something would not necessarily put me off a house, though understand it does for many.

Yes, finding out seconded. We saw an ad in the local paper for my.parents' previous house. No internal pics, so my mum requested a brochure out of sheet nosiness :)

I can't afford it though ... I don't have that much .... and it's only "OK", nothing special, or perfect, or ideal really. Doesn't tick some major boxes either :)

Sorry to hear about dog dog LIR. Are the breed prone to unexpalined breaks?

DD's cat Enzo, a big black boy stray who moved in with us 4 years ago was diagnosed on Friday of last week as totally blind. He had seemed fine a week before when at the vets for a visit about gingivitis. As he had an RTA last year he has also had lots of other veterinary visits this year.

Vet was pretty surprised so took Enzo in for the day on Monday to discuss with other colleagues - conclusion is that it is a congenital problem which has probably been brewing .

Poor little chap is learning to find his way around - it is tricky as our dog chases cats, and our other cat hates Enzo.

Vet did not bill DD for the day.

DD has been quite worried by this latest event as the horse she was sharing was PTS two weeks ago.

Poor dd spirit. What a terrible double whammy.

Greys are are prone in racing situations to tis break, the first ones he did was unusual as glaring greys always get them in the other leg( the one she has now done).

However, she has better 'bone' than most, and obviously doesn't race. I understand her attachments and joints ( before breaks) are all better than usual.

They are extremely 'engineered' though. More than say, to to pony, so ......

Fwiw, the breeder has never had one do this, though my mentor in dogs has had a ouple ( same lines).

Where would someone get something inane, like a nursery rhyme, translated into Hebrew? I don't want to ask family or ask dh to ask family because it's a surprise for someone.

    google translate?

Are you trying to translate each word literally? The problem with poems/ songs is that the rhythem and rhyme will be lost when you translate. With songs you risk not being able to fit the words to the music.

No rhythm, no rhyme, not yet. Or music But I might think about that.

This weekend our chore listatm is...
    1. Bang in some wooden posts,
    2. paint a room,
    3. Massage dog twice a day
    4. Insulate
    5. Make cd compilation for new baby. Things to go to sleep to.

This weekend, my chore list is
    1. Pack up MY car with the most important things, trying not to forget anything vital
    2. Drive myself safely to new location
    3. Meet new flatmate, see new accommodation, not find I have made a big mistake in doing neither sooner
    4. Unpack stuff
    5. Try not to panic myself about Monday

I have yesterday cleaned my room ( and put back into it a lot of stuff that is staying here for at least the short term), and today I said goodbye to the place where I have been doing a bit of voluntary work. All starting to feel a bit real now

Spirit, that must have been really difficult for your dd ( and all concerned of course). Hope you all manage to adapt to the change in circumstances as easily as possible.
