K800i making buzzing sound-Help!
Hi,
I need help with my brothers phone. It is the K800i on Orange. Basically earlier today he unbranded the phone using the Wotanclient and the whole process was followed to the letter and there were no problems whatsoever.
The phone is now debranded but there is a small problem, I am not sure if its a problem really but anyway.
Whenever a call is made I put the sound on three bars,at this level I can just about here the caller, however if I increase the call volume any more it makes a buzzing sound when the person speaks, then when I lower the sound it goes back to normal again!
Is this normal for this phone?
Thanks in advance!

i remember when i got my k800 and i had to send it back with this fault. it had a buzz when i was on a call and i was told that it was the speaker in the ear piece that was faulty.
you might have to take it to an independant repair company to have a look at it to see what it is.
hope this helps0 -

Was the buzz happening all the time, even if you lowered the volume or was it happening when the volume was high? Its weird cos the buzzing only happens when the volume is increased on my fone.hmmmm"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

bump...anyone know if the handset is faulty or is this the norm with the k800i, as i have said the speaker tends to buzz/vibrate when the volume is above 3/4 bars.
thanks"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

What frimware are you using on the phones ? I know there was an issue when they first came out regarding the volume being low and maybe an update of the firmware may rectify the problems you are having with the buzzing sound you are hearing.0

Legend thanks.... I wish i had checked the mobile before i debranded it cos I am unsure if this is a software or hardware(speaker) fault."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

O.k guys the problem will be a loose speaker, when the sound is turned up over a certain level the earpiece will vibrate more than normal which will result in the buzzing/vibrating noise that you are experiencing. I have been told that if you take it to a S.E service centre then they will fix this for you free of charge.0

Haha they may not do this as I have invalidated the warranty by debranding the phone :T .
I have asked the guy from https://www.mobyrepairs.com to see how much he will do it for.
Thanks JAYMARSH2005 for finding out the info for me."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
