    hi everyone i have been reading this thread for a while now and i think its fantastic - well done guys!
    im going to attempt to make a pamper/indulge hamper for my best friend but does anyone have any ideas where i can get a lovely but cheap basket or what to put the items in? sorry if its been asked already.

    I was dreading crimbo this year - but you guys have all cheered me up - you all have such fab ideas. I really like the idea of themed baskets, so think i will give this a go for some family members. Will now be on the hunt for the baskets!

    I got mine from the pound shop and a couple from a charity shop.

    Tescos,matalans and instore also have them.
    Not Buying it 2015!

    Went to tesco today and they had the paint your own mug, and paint your own Bowl reduced from £2.97 to £1.97

    Great little stocking fillers, or to put in a themed hamper ( crafty or kids) i got one of each for my 2 munchkins.

    Thanks lilmrsmullen :T I was in wilko's the other day and they have those clay hand print child sets for £3 with a stand, so I'm gonna stock up on presents like this but use them from my son, step-son and new bubba to do for reletives :j

    also the mugs came through at a misprice still £2.97 even though they were clearly marked down to £1.97, so i got double my cash back on those, so i made £2 too, plus the saving £4 for my pin money Jar :T

    I cant believe i havnt found this thread before now, im completly obsessed with christmas and thought i was alone in planning for it all year long!

    I have always bought things throughout the year but still seem to end up in the mad christmas rush.

    I love the idea for making hampers for people, ive no idea why i never thought of it as i always make nappy cakes for people!

    I will be watching this thread form now on, for more ideas to steel!

    I don't know whether people have mentioned this in the thread, it so mind bogglingly long.. instead of using baskets you could use a handbag or something like that - sometimes you'll get free bags with magazines that are quite nice and would make a good goody bag hamper.

    I am using some lovely recycled shopping bags.

    Another thing i am doing from the kids to their grandparents are plants. I picked up some lovely plant pots in Asda this week, the kids are going to plant herbs in them so their grandmas have a mini herb garden each for the kitchen window.
