I have been reading this thread and taking notes! Thanks everyone for your ideas.
Just thought id tell you at focus homebase they have all their xmas stock from last year out at reduced prices, lots of outside lights ect and the blow up huge santas for a £10!!

it says £49 but if you follow the link you get the price you paid which is a little naughty by them. Ah well maybe I won't be going halfs for him to get that bit out of my budget

Please please - where is Rajani's in Bristol - we're from just inside Wales, but come to Bristol at least twice a fortnight to pick my stepdaughter up - this could be combined!!

ooo i think a trip to homebase is just what i need see if our one has there old xmas bits up i tend to buy up in the january too but did not this year

Step daughter likes to make cards, so I've been slowly collecting bits & bobs that can used to make cards. So far I've collected...4 card kits, 3 packs of letters, and a number of 'bits sets'. Spent a little...got a lot.

Hi All, Just got back from shoppign to find that the coop i work in has started aving stamps - its right next door to my house, its where i work and they give me £12 each christmas to spend as i like so i think i might start doing the saving stamps too seeing as i get my discount still and use this for my christmas shopping.Also i went to Wilkinsons today and brought a diego rescue pack (£14.99) , 4 bob the builder puzzles (£3.99) and a remote controlled fire engine (£9.99) so for a total of £29 i gto Ben another 3 presents Plus he already has a dinosaur thingy so he has 4 gifts so far - woohoo im getting there!
