I first of all thought "my goodness these people are being far too premature" but then I did stop to realise that I have made a few Christmas cards and have a £10 Boots voucher and £16 Tesco Vouchers pinned to the notice board already... I only spend about £200 overall for Christmas including all food, drink and clothing etc but then I don't have a big family and do a lot of crafts. I'm also one of those annoying people who buy what they like when they want yet always has money no matter what their income; I do believe it's called being a cheapskate???0

Doing quite well with the stacking up of presents this 1st time I'm doing the whole GCSE (Getting Christmas Sorted Early)-business.
So far I've got
Norman Wisdom boxset for FIL for 16.99 (RRP £60ish), HMV
John Wayne DVD for FIL £2.99, PLAY.COM
Kelly Holmes book for BIL £1, AMAZON
Football book for ? £3, amazon
2 War books for FIL £2, amazon
Poetry book for MIL £1, amazon
Cycling toolkit for BIL £1, poundland
Microfibre Hair towel £1, poundland
Radox Bath salts £1, poundland
several photoframes to be filled with pictures £1 each, Wilko
Set of loofah mit, body scrubber and loofah-tube 10p, Tesco
Sure there's more, but that's all I can remember. Had two sets of loofah things, hair towels and bath salts, but used one in SIL's Happy Birthday Pamper Hamper. Really chuffed with that one, but haven't had any response to it yet. Had 12 HM lavender and bergamot soaps, 6 HM lavender and bergamot bath bombs, a big jar of bubblegum scented ice cube soaps (Martha Stewart), 1 jar HM Honey, Lavender and bergamot Hair Pack, 3 decorated cellophane bags of Radox Thyme bath salts, the loofah things and the hair towel. All in a big basket from Wilkos for £5 lined with lilac tissue paper. And I never took any pictures grrrrrr!0 -

Went to The Works yesterday, they've got quite a good sale on at the mo, some books, children and adults, 99p.
Not in the sale but I thought a good price for £1.99 was a colour in your own kite kit. Bought one for DS and another send over to the USA as a gift as it's so light....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

No mummytummy, I'm still here, just not had much to update on at the moment! Although, having thought about it, voucher collecting is still going well. Should have £50 of vouchers from pigsback, £20 from lightspeed, £15 from test and vote (don't think I'll be lucky enough to get up enough points to make £30!) and I may even get to the magic £50 on yougov before Christmas!
Stockpiling of unwanted gifts is going well. Had garage sale the other week at mum and dad's and dad had put some nice, unwanted, gifts out for sale, but they didn't sell, so I quickly grabbed and they're now in my present box!
So on course for a good, low-spend, if not no-spend Christmas!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

I'm still here too!
I'm just planning my home made pressies at the moment and making sure I have the supplies I need. Got a few birthdays to sort out before I knuckle down to christmas pressies - aim is to start Christmas at end of July - all birthday finished then! I shall be making my own cards too. (making birthday cards at the moment!)... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
