My date for BR is 11th May which I found out last Wednesday when I took my forms in and paid my money - £485. I have to be there for 10.00 a.m. when, I have been told I will be booked in, then taken to the judges chambers where bankruptcy is declared - which takes from 30 seconds to 5 mins according to the clerk I saw and then straight to the OR's office for my interview - daunting or what!!!
Will it be the actual OR interview? I ask because that's what I thought would happen at my BR at the RCJ. I did get seen at the OR's office that afternoon, but I subsequently found out that the person who saw me & went through my form with me was an administrator in the OR's office, not the OR. She told me that, unless there were any queries, they'd be unlikely to want to call me back there. From what I've read the proper OR interviews are anything from 30 minutes to 3 hours, whereas the interviews done on the day are not usually more than about 20 minutes.
