OR Interview - in Office or by Telephone?

The OR interview is an intrical part of the Bankruptcy process, and is, often, the most 'daunting' of all the procedures we need to go through.
In my case, I had to go to the OR's office, and my interview, whilst not in itself judgemental or even particularily stressful, lasted three and a half hours.
Looking through the threads, it would appear that the trend is going towards the 'telephone' interview, usually lasting between 30minutes and one hour.
One poster was told by the court that it is now extremely rare to have to attend the OR office for interview.
I am intrigued as to the ratio of 'Office' to 'Telephone' interviews, and would like you to vote in my totally un-scientific 'poll' in order that I, and everyone on this forum, can get a better appreciation of how he 'system' works.
If you have any views as to why you had an office interview rather than a telephone interview, or vice-versa, please post your thoughts.
Equally, if anybody knows of any 'official' reasons as to how the decision, whether 'Office' or 'Telephone', is taken, please could you enlighten us.
Al;l constructive views are welcome.

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

My date for BR is 11th May which I found out last Wednesday when I took my forms in and paid my money - £485. I have to be there for 10.00 a.m. when, I have been told I will be booked in, then taken to the judges chambers where bankruptcy is declared - which takes from 30 seconds to 5 mins according to the clerk I saw and then straight to the OR's office for my interview - daunting or what!!!:eek:0
