    Thanks for the info southcoastrgi,if I got a guy in to drain the system and replace the valve how much would it cost me?

    A google suggests the 3-OLO valves don't have removable actuator heads but the new ones do.
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.

    he only has to drain it down to below the valve so to drain it & change the valve about 1-2 hrs but if it doesn't refill then it could be longer, you will prob be looking at £150-£200 inc the valve
    I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

    Mmm......Something is not right here after the problem re-occured on the 6/10/12 I changed the programme settings so that the heating and water do not conflict and since then everything has been fine.
    It has been okay for three days now which is the longest it has lasted.
    Any ideas?
