Nokia 7600 Alive and kicking
Hi
I bought thie Nokia 7600 phone for my sons Christmas from the 3G special offer last October.
Well this little mobile has just come out of a pocket after going through a washing machine cycle for 1.5 hours.
I took it apart to dry it first and put it back together and guess what
IT IS WORKING. Ok the screen has slight damage but I am amazed.
Just thought I would put in here that I am so impressed with the Nokia 7600.
Some people have critisised this phone.
My own Nokia 3650 survived last year after bouncing down a concrete path and coming apart in pieces and is still working to this day.
Well done Nokia. Built to last.

Well, your very lucky. I had mine in a bag and my water bottle leaked (a bit) and my phone is broken.
Now I have to buy a new phone whilst still paying the contract on my broken Nokia - pyschologically it does my head in, but I need a phone, so there's no choice i guess.0 -
As you say it may all be down to luck and I am just relieved that my son still has his mobile, he can live with the slight damage on the lcd. and at the end of the day it may have taught him to be a little bit more careful about where he leaves his phone. Its better to be late in this life than early in the next one.

Brother played pool with his nokia 7600 and screen got cracked from the corner of the table.
I've got the exact same phone and i'm having no problems, dropped it on concrete, tiling floors plenty of times and still comes back for more!0 -
lucky u there, we have a mobile technicial here to help. my 7600 had been with me for about 6 months now and generally been good to me. apart from when i 1st had it the sim card came with it was playing up and the phone refuses to turn on. of course then called 3g and gave them some sort of hard time so the new sim card didn't take long to arrive.
the phone has only got a tiny little scrach at the battery cover and everything else works just fine.0
