I recently bought this item and have set it up and mastered the settings, but I can't find a way to make a recorded programme play from the 'Recording Shedule' section.

The manual says select the item and press OK on the remote, but it doesn't work.

I think I must be missing something really obvious, but I can't get it to work and feel like I'm going round in circles.

Can anyone help, please?

If you slide down the flap at bottom of control the button on top row third from left will give you list of recorded programmes.

Once you've selected the program, try exiting from the menu system and the recorded program should play.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Menu > option 2 > choose your recorded program > OK.

I've got 2 9300T and have just tried it the way you were trying...it doesn't work.

Press Menu > Record > Option 1 (Recorded Programme) - scroll up/down to select what you wish to view - > OK. You'll see it starting to play in the small box at the top of the screen. Press EXIT on yr remote to view on yr tv screen (full size)

    Hope this helps

Thanks for the responses, however I've tried all the suggestions and it doesn't work.

I'll have to try calling them, trouble is the helpline number is only available between 9 and 5.30, Monday to Friday, when I'm at work!

Thanks again for all the suggestions, they've helped me identify where the problem lies. The manual (yes I have one and I've read every word of it) isn't very clear, but I've realised I can't play programmes from the recording schedule, only from the recorded programmes section.

Tonight I successfully recorded 2 films, which are now available to view in the recorded programmes section, however, I have a list of series in the recording schedule such as Downton, New Tricks, and Strictly that don't.

Shouldn't the episodes that have already been aired appear in the recorded programmes section, so that I can watch them?

Once the broadcasts are complete, yes they should appear.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
