Fed up of the 24 hour "security review" on PayPal Withdrawl?

Ok, here is the solution to the security message on withdrawl -:

1) Log into PayPal
2) Click "Withdraw to bank account"
3) Input amount of funds you want to withdraw

Now, at this point, PayPal will say the funds will take 4 hours to hit your bank account.

4) Click the Cancel button

PayPal will now say the withdrawl period is 24 hours.

5) Click the Cancel button.

You are now back at PayPals main account screen.

6) Click Withdraw and "transfer to bank".
7) Input the funds you wish to withdraw, and click OK.

Those funds will be in your bank account quicker than you can log into that bank account to check!

Have fun!

My business account is reviewed every time and didn't change when I followed your directions. My personal account is fine.

Strange, works for me every time, and mine is a business account too.

I tried this yesterday and this morning, but it doesn't work. In any case although the message said 24 hours, funds were in by 3-4 hours.

Mine only ever said the 'up to 24 hours' bit when I first transferred it after the change over. Now my message always says 'within 2 hours' and my funds are always in my bank instantly!

Makes me laugh the number of people who are complaining about it taking up to 24 hours!! It was only 5 minutes ago that it used to take 3 days or more!! Some people are never happy!

I agree, it's a bonus for me at 24 hours. But 4 hours is a dream. I don't know why everyone is moaning.

I built a business, primarily on ebay, over the last couple of years and managed to cope fine with the 3+ day withdrawal so 24 hours for people in the same situation now is a real bonus!

Indeed, try waiting for Amazon payments, they certainly don't rush.

  • I just withdraw my Paypal balance via the ATM card that Paypal sent me.

You can use it as a debit card in the shops or use it at any ATM :)
  • Last night, I made a withdrawal request, got the message saying it might take up to 24 hours to review: it's now been over 24 hours and I'm still waiting for that money to go through, but in the meantime, a more recent withdrawal arrived in my bank account immediately! Very odd, but still better than having to wait 3-4 working days (and last time I checked, the Paypal debit card was only available to those who received e-mail invitations, which made me wonder why they were advertising it to ineligible customers).

It was supposed to made available to everyone this year, but looks like that will not be happening now.
